Matt talks about his experiences on The Voice and the pressures of replacing a polarizing member of an already successful band. Slaves is currently recording a follow-up to their 2020 release and will be doing so with a name change as a result of the civil unrest and calls for awareness towards social justice issues we still face.

New age Chicago pop-punkers Action/Adventure went viral in 2020 for their polarizing TikTok that highlights critics and their prejudiced stereotypes when it comes to the way their music is “supposed” to sound. After 1.3 million views and counting, the world is starting to give Action/Adventure, as well as the elite Chicago scene, the attention they rightfully deserve. As a result of their recent success, AA just announced that they have officially inked a deal with Pure Noise Records.

Over the span of about 30 years, Tomo Fujita has become one of the premier guitar teachers in the business. Garnering accolades such as one of “Guitar World’s Greatest All-Star Teachers”, Tomo has mastered the art of making the complicated simple and allowing the instrument to be approachable to all players of all skill levels. Fortunately for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to have Tomo as our professor, you can still be a student of his by enrolling in his personal guitar curriculum: Guitar Wisdom. He has also authored instructional guitar literature that has sold over 160,000 copies. When he isn’t teaching at Berklee, Tomo can also be found performing with other notable names, such as: Will Lee, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Steve Jordan, Susan Tedeschi, Phil Collins, John Mayer... just to name a few.
